you think its going to be totally awesome until you bring up one Ghostbusters reference and they don’t get it, and then the whole rest of the night you’re spent listening to your stubble grow and her drink glass hitting the table again as she tells another story but you can’t concentrate because you can’t believe someone has gone their whole lives without watching Ghostbusters. its the saddest thing in the whole world. imagine babies crying time a thousand and you’re not even close.
I watched that How I Met Your Mother episode last night where his fiancee never saw Star Wars and I thought “wow, this is how I feel about everything.” But THIS is how I feel about everything.
Every time I switch an episode of HIMYM on, I always think how funny a Scottish re-make would be, (it would never work but) it could be called How I Met Yer Ma - and that would be funny in itself.
