permalink I got to see Back to the Future in the cinema the other night, with my extended family. Me and the cousins always used to watch BTTF when we were young and our Nana babysat us.  A huge influence for me, it was great to see it on the big screen finally - I hope I can do the same with another few films. For me, it’s much better than Hollywood remaking (or “rebooting”) popular films (primarily from the ’80s). The showing we saw was busier than any of the last 10 (new) films I have seen - and they didn’t have to shoot anything new*! *And by ‘shoot anything new’, I mean ‘butcher a classic’.
